IS JESUS THE SON OF GOD? PART 1

(Restored Note from my blocked faceBook account

TAKE HEED WHEN THE TRUTH COMES TO YOU,  BEC YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE ON JUDGEMENT DAY!!

This note should really clear up one of the most big differences between Christianity and Islam, which is the oneness of God and the position of Jesus. No muslim says that Jesus is Son of God. Our most important creed is : "ashadu alla ilaaha ilallah" = I bear witness that there is no god but God. It means that we don't ascribe partners to Him, no son, nothing but Almighty Him. To describe partners to Him is called "shirk" and is the greatest sin in Islam and blasphemy.

Muslims are rather pointing out that in the Bible "son of God" is used in a figurative way. as such we can maybe say Jesus in the son of God, as we are all the children of God, in a matter of figurative speech. The translators of the Bible went awfully wrong, when they start to take it literally and made it with a capital: Son of God! notice that in the original languages there are no capitals!!! I studied Hebrew and Arabic and they have no capitals..

According to the Bible, this symbolism is used in psalm 82:6 by God:  "I said, 'You are "gods": you are all sons of The Most High"

I think that everyone here would agree that "gods" is that verse is symbolic speech. in the same way, is "son of God" also symbolic. that idea gives Jesus himself according to John 10: 34-36:

":Jesus answered them, "I have said you are gods? If he called them gods, to whom theword of God came - and the scriptures cannot be broken - what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, I am God's son?

Jesus prayed. If he is God then who the heck was he praying to?

Sherry Davis: Right....and if he was God and died in the cross and was in the grave for 3 days....WHO sustained the world during this time and WHO brought him back to life? Alhamduilah for Islam....everything is clear and makes perfect sense.

People eat and sh!t in the toilet and sleep. We just cant ascribe those actions to God, its blasphemy!!!

Sa Ba:

If Jesus, son of Mary, came back right now...

"Suppose that someone observed Jesus two-thousand years ago, and he left this planet, or he went to sleep for two-thousand years and returned today to look for the followers of Jesus, who would he find? Who would he recognise? Christians? I conclude with just this food for thought: the Bible says very clearly that Jesus used to fast. Do Christians fast? Muslims fast; it is obligatory one month every year. The Bible says that Jesus prayed by touching his forehead to the ground. Do Christians pray in this manner? Muslims do. It is characteristic of their prayer and no one on earth is probably ignorant of that fact (...)

"According to Jesus, he told his disciples to greet one another with the expression, "Peace be with you." Do the Christians do that? Muslims do, universally, whether they speak Arabic or not. The greeting for one to another is Assalamu'alaikum (peace be with you).

The brother of Jesus in the Book of James, stated that no man should suggest what he is about to do or highlight his plans for the next few days in anyway without adding the phrase "if God wills." Do not say "I will go here and there, do this and that" without adding the phrase "if God wills." Do Christians do that? Muslims do, whether they speak Arabic or not. If they so much as suggest they are going downtown to pick up some groceries, they will add, Insha-Allah, which in Arabic means, "If God wills."......who would Jesus feel close to???

The creator cannot be born of creation SIMPLE!!

JESUS WAS A PALESTINIAN!

When the Romans came to dominate the area, they used the name Palestine. Thus, when Yehoshu’a [Jesus] was born, he was born a Palestinian as were all of the inhabitants of the region, Jews and non-Jews. He was also a Nazarene (being born in Nazareth) and a Galilean (born in the region of Galilee)… At the time of Yehoshu’a's birth, Palestine was inhabited by Jews-descendants of Hebrews, Canaanites, and many other Semitic peoples-and also by Phoenicians, Syrians, Greeks, and even Arabs.
